KATHMANDU: Paramount Motors, the official distributor of MG vehicles in Nepal, is offering up to Rs 350,000 discount on the MG S5 during the ongoing NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo.
The S5 is one of MG’s most popular models. With this price drop, the company expects even more interest from buyers.
“This offer is planned for the NAIMA Expo and also ahead of the upcoming festive season,” said Sunil Cheetri, General Manager of Paramount Motors. The discount varies across variants.
The Comfort variant now comes at Rs 4.299 million after a discount of Rs 100,000. It includes a 51 kWh battery, one-year insurance and a 7 kW charger for free.
The Luxury variant gets a cash discount of Rs 250,000. Its new price is Rs 4.749 million. This version also includes a one-year insurance policy and a free 7 kW AC charger.
The top-end Deluxe variant, which has a larger 64 kWh battery, is now available at Rs 5.249 million after a discount of Rs 250.000.
Customers exchanging an old vehicle for the Deluxe variant get an extra Rs 100,000 exchange bonus. In total, buyers of this variant can save up to Rs 350,000, along with insurance and a charger.
MG S5 highlights
The MG S5 comes with a clean and simple interior. It has a 12.8-inch infotainment screen and a 10.25-inch digital driver display. The SUV also features heated and ventilated seats. With 180 mm of ground clearance, it suits Nepali roads well.
It runs on a CATL-made LFP battery, designed to be thinner, allowing for more cabin space.
