KATHMANDU: Proton Nepal has delivered 10 units of its premium electric SUV, the Proton e.MAS7, in Butwal even before the showroom officially opened.

The new outlet will be operated by Balaji E Automobiles for the Butwal-Bhairahawa region.

Several customers in Butwal booked and received their vehicles even before the official showroom opening. Proton had recently organized a similar delivery event in Pokhara, where multiple units were handed over to buyers. These back-to-back events underline the brand’s increasing acceptance and expanding footprint outside Kathmandu.

Speaking about the achievement, Mr. Raju Bhetwaal, Sr. Vice President of Jagdamba Motors, said: “Seeing 10 families in Butwal drive home their Proton e.MAS7 before our showroom even opens is a proud moment. It proves that customers trust our technology, safety, comfort and service.”

Proton is offering customers facilities such as 0% interest financing, a best-in-class warranty and an expanded service network. The company operates under the ownership structure of Malaysia’s national automaker, with Geely holding a 49.9 % stake.
