KATHMANDU: Satyadeep International has officially entered the lithium-ion battery and advanced energy storage segment in Nepal. The company has announced a partnership with Camel Group, one of Asia’s largest and most trusted battery manufacturers.
Under the agreement, Satyadeep will distribute Camel-brand lithium-ion batteries in the Nepali market. The product range will cover batteries for electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, e-rickshaws, passenger and cargo loaders. These batteries feature advanced BMS, higher safety standards, and long service life, with performance optimized for Nepal’s climate.
Camel lithium-ion batteries for home UPS, inverters, and solar hybrid systems will also be introduced. Compared to lead-acid batteries, they offer faster charging, higher usable capacity, compact size, and maintenance-free operation, with up to five times longer lifespan.
Satyadeep is also preparing complete energy storage solutions for commercial and industrial use. These systems will support factories, solar energy storage, telecom towers, data centers, and critical backup applications.
Founded in 1980, Camel Group is headquartered in Hubei, China, and operates globally in lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries, energy storage systems, and battery recycling.
