KATHMANDU: Production of Indian lubricant brand Servo has officially started in Nepal. Golchha Group, in partnership with Indian Oil Corporation, has launched a modern lubricant manufacturing plant in Devchuli, Nawalpur.

Golchha Group Chairman Shekhar Golchha said production has started from the new facility in Devchuli. He described the launch as a matter of pride and an important step towards making Nepal more self-reliant.

“We are proud to announce the start of production at our Servo industrial and automobile lubricant plant in Nawalpur’s Devchuli,” he said.

He added that the project reflects the strong partnership between Indian Oil Corporation and Golchha Group. It is also the result of shared vision, mutual trust, and commitment to quality.

According to Golchha, the factory will create direct employment for around 150 people.

The plant is expected to support Nepal’s growing demand for lubricants used in the automobile and industrial sectors. It will also help meet local needs through domestic production.
