Tata Intra EV unveiled with 1,750 kg payload capacity

KATHMANDU: Tata Motors has launched the new Tata Intra EV Pickup in India. The electric LCV is priced at 1.195 million Indian rupees. (Ex-showroom).

The Intra EV is built on a dedicated electric platform. It uses a 28.2 kWh battery pack. The motor produces 96.5 BHP and 230 Nm of torque. The pickup offers a certified range of 211 km. It supports CCS2 fast charging. The battery can charge from 10 to 80 percent in around 55 minutes.

The model is aimed at commercial use. It targets FMCG, e-commerce, cold-chain, waste management, LPG, and dairy sectors. It has a payload capacity of 1,750 kg. Multiple load body options are available up to 10 ft 2 in.

Tata is offering a 6-year or 200,000 km battery warranty.
