KATHMANDU: The 18th edition of the NADA Auto Show 2026 is set to begin next week at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The six-day event will start on August 25, just a week after the conclusion of the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
This year’s NADA Auto Show will be special as NADA celebrates its 50th anniversary. A total of 51 brands from the passenger vehicle, two-wheeler and commercial vehicle segments are expected to participate.
According to NADA, 22 passenger vehicle brands will participate in the auto show. The brands listed for the event include Riddara, AION, JMEV, TATA.ev, Suzuki, Deepal, Avatr, Foton, Skoda, Nammi, Changan, Proton, BYD, Geely, BAW, Omoda, Jaecoo, Jetour, MG (Paramount Motors), GWM, Leapmotor, MHero and Skywell.
The list contains 23 names, despite NADA’s stated figure of 22 passenger vehicle brands. Therefore, the final count may change depending on how NADA categorizes the participating brands.
Several brands that participated in the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo will also be present at the NADA Auto Show. Dealers are participating in both events to expand their sales opportunities.
Other brands may also be displayed by business groups that have taken stalls at the expo. Wuling and Chery are among the brands expected to have a presence through their respective distributors.
The auto show will also feature 17 light commercial vehicle brands. These include Foton, Sokon, King Long, Higer, Farizon, JINBEI, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, DFSK, Kama, New Gonow Auto, Aucwell, thee Go, Skyworth, Dongfeng, Kawei Auto, Feidi and Ekta Motors.
In the two-wheeler segment, Royal Enfield, Yatri, Hero, Vida, Yamaha Racing, Vespa/Aprilia, Ampere, MetaEV and Revolt are expected to participate.
Around a dozen banks, financial institutions and insurance companies will also have stalls at the event. These include Nabil Bank, NIC Asia, Laxmi Sunrise Bank, Prabhu Bank, Kumari Bank, Rastriya Banijya Bank, Machhapuchchhre Bank, Global IME Bank, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, Shikhar Insurance and Gorkhas Finance.
Banks and financial institutions are preparing vehicle loan schemes with competitive interest rates to attract customers during the auto show.
Several companies from the tire, lubricant, spare parts and automotive components segments will also participate in the expo.
