KATHMANDU: An updated version of the Hero Xtreme 125R has been spotted at an Indian dealership ahead of its launch. The updated motorcycle gets a new color TFT display and could also feature a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
The overall design remains similar to the current Xtreme 125R. The spotted motorcycle features a dual-tone color scheme with red alloy wheels.
The updated model is also expected to retain features such as cruise control and three riding modes.
Power is expected to come from the same 124.7cc, single-cylinder engine. The engine produces 11 BHP at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. It is paired with a five-speed gearbox.
The suspension setup also appears unchanged. The motorcycle uses telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock.
Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends. The motorcycle is equipped with dual-channel ABS.
The updated Hero Xtreme 125R is expected to be launched soon in India. More details, including its price and complete feature list, are likely to be revealed at the time of launch.
