KATHMANDU: TVS Ntorq has crossed the 2.5 million unit sales milestone in India, becoming the company’s second-best-selling scooter range after the Jupiter.
TVS Motor has sold more than 2.5 million Ntorq scooters since the model was launched in 2018. The Ntorq range currently includes 125cc and 150cc models.
The Ntorq 125 was launched in February 2018, while the Ntorq 150 was introduced in September 2025. The addition of the 150cc model has helped increase sales of the Ntorq range in the current fiscal year.
In August 2026, TVS dispatched 40,256 Ntorq scooters in India. This included 28,298 units of the Ntorq 125 and 11,958 units of the Ntorq 150. The total Ntorq sales reached 2,503,829 units by the end of August.
The Ntorq 125 crossed the 1 million sales mark in a little over four years. It took another three years to reach 2 million units. The latest 500,000 units were sold in just 15 months, helped by the introduction of the Ntorq 150.
The Ntorq range recorded 363,904 unit sales in India in FY 2026. It ranked fifth among India’s best-selling scooters during the fiscal year, while TVS’ electric iQube recorded slightly higher sales.
TVS expects the Ntorq 125 and 150 to cross 450,000 combined sales in the current fiscal year.
In Nepal, TVS two-wheelers are distributed by Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd. The Ntorq is also part of TVS’ scooter lineup in Nepal.
