KATHMANDU: TVS Motor Company has updated six motorcycles in India as part of its festive-season portfolio refresh. The update covers the Apache RTR 160, RTR 160 4V, RTR 200 4V, Apache RR 310, Apache RTR 310 and Ronin range.
The company has added new features, variants and color options across the lineup. Deliveries of the updated motorcycles have started ahead of the festive season.
The Apache RTR 160 now gets a top variant with a Traction Control System (TCS), dual-channel ABS, hazard lights and LED indicators. It is priced at 128,000 Indian rupees (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Apache RTR 160 4V gets a new TFT display with Google Maps mirroring, Panic Brake Alert and a Type-C charging port. It is priced at 114,000 Indian rupees.
The Apache RTR 200 4V also gets a TFT display with Google Maps mirroring, Panic Brake Alert and a Type-C charging port. It additionally gets an adjustable front USD fork. The updated model is priced at 150,000 Indian rupees.
TVS has also introduced Black Diamond Editions of the Apache RR 310 and RTR 310. Both motorcycles get an all-black finish based on their top variants with a quickshifter. The RR 310 additionally gets Keyless Ride, a feature already available on the RTR 310.
The Apache RTR 310 Black Diamond Edition is priced at 249,000 Indian rupees, while the RR 310 Black Diamond Edition costs 288,000 Indian rupees, both ex-showroom, Delhi. There are no major mechanical changes to either motorcycle.
The TVS Ronin range has also received feature updates. The company has introduced a new Base+ variant with dual-channel ABS, priced at 142,000 Indian rupees.
The Mid variant gets a connected instrument cluster and Type-C charging port, while the Top variant adds traction control, a Type-C charger and a premium seat. Their prices are 152,000 Indian rupees and 164,000 Indian rupees, respectively.
TVS has also introduced new color options across the updated range. Apart from the feature and equipment upgrades, the company has not announced major mechanical changes to these motorcycles.
