KATHMANDU: Chinese automobile brands BAIC and ARCFOX have opened a new showroom in Pokhara, expanding their presence in Nepal’s automobile market.
The new showroom, located at Buddhachowk, has been established by Laxmi Motor Hub, the official distributor of both brands in Nepal.
The showroom was formally inaugurated by Ganesh Bahadur Shrestha, Chairman of Laxmi Group, and Sunil Shrestha, Executive Director of the group.
With the new outlet, customers in Pokhara and other parts of Gandaki Province will have easier access to both brands’ vehicles, product information and after-sales services.
BAIC is known for its engineering, performance and versatile vehicle lineup, while ARCFOX focuses on electric mobility, modern design and advanced technology.
The company expects the new showroom to strengthen its reach in the Gandaki region by bringing two different automobile brands under one roof.
According to Laxmi Motor Hub, the expansion is part of its strategy to strengthen its sales and service network beyond Kathmandu. The company aims to tap into Pokhara’s growing automobile market and address the rising demand for both electric and conventional vehicles in Nepal.
