KATHMANDU: Yamaha Nepal’s riding community, Yamaha Blue Streaks, has completed its ‘Changa Chet’ Festive Ride to celebrate the spirit of Dashain.
The event brought riders together across four routes in eastern Nepal, Chitwan, Makwanpur and the Kathmandu Valley. It focused on adventure, community bonding and celebrating the festive season on the road.
The ride covered four destinations. Around 20 riders travelled from Dharan to Bhedetar Farm Village, while 25 riders joined the ride from Chitwan to Mayatar. Similarly, 20 riders travelled from Hetauda to Makwanpur Gadhi, and 30 riders joined the ride to Budhanilkantha in Kathmandu.
The initiative aimed to extend the Dashain celebration beyond homes and bring riders together through shared travel experiences. It also highlighted the importance of exploring new destinations and strengthening connections among members of the riding community.
According to Yamaha Nepal, the ‘Changa Chet’ Festive Ride combined Nepal’s festive traditions with the excitement of motorcycling. The event encouraged riders to enjoy the journey itself, rather than focusing only on reaching their destinations.
Deepak Agrawal, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of MAW, said the initiative aimed to spread the joy of Dashain and promote unity across different routes in Nepal.
“Through the Changa Chet Festive Ride, we aimed to spread the joy of Dashain and the spirit of togetherness across different routes in Nepal. Our goal was to travel together with enthusiasm and enjoy the thrill of riding,” he said.
