KATHMANDU: Renault India is set to launch the facelifted version of the Kwid on July 3, 2026. The updated entry-level hatchback will receive styling changes and new features while continuing with the existing powertrain.
The 2026 Renault Kwid facelift is expected to get a redesigned front profile inspired by the Dacia Spring. It will retain the split headlamp setup but feature new Y-shaped LED daytime running lights similar to the latest Renault Duster.
The facelift model is also expected to come with redesigned front and rear bumpers along with updated taillights featuring a Y-shaped lighting pattern.
Inside the cabin, the Kwid facelift is likely to receive an updated touchscreen infotainment system, a new steering wheel design, and a revised instrument cluster.
The updated Kwid will continue to use the existing 1.0-liter, three-cylinder petrol engine. The engine produces 67 BHP and 91 Nm of torque and will be available with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT option.
The Renault Kwid competes in the entry-level hatchback segment and remains one of Renault’s key models in India.
