KATHMANDU: Hyundai Motor Company is preparing the next-generation Creta. Test units have already been spotted on Indian roads. The model is expected to launch around 2027 according to Rushlane.

The new Creta will likely use the updated Hyundai-Kia K3 platform. This could result in a slightly larger body and improved cabin space.
Recent renders based on spy shots show a more mature design. The front gets pixel-style LED DRLs similar to Ioniq models. Headlamps are positioned lower. The SUV features a clamshell bonnet and updated bumper design.

Black cladding around the wheel arches adds a muscular look. The model is expected to get larger 19-inch alloy wheels. The overall profile shows a more upright windshield and bigger glass area.

Some design elements include flush door handles, redesigned ORVMs, and new body cladding. Spy shots also indicate the presence of a charging port, hinting at electrification.

The new Creta is expected to offer a large digital display setup. It may include dual 12.3-inch screens or a wider integrated display layout. A separate climate control screen could also be added.

Expected features include ventilated seats, powered front seats, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, and a powered tailgate. It may also get Level-2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, digital key, and premium sound system.

The SUV is likely to continue with existing 1.5L petrol and diesel engine options. These include naturally aspirated petrol, turbo petrol, and diesel variants. A hybrid version is also under development.

The next-generation Creta is expected to debut by late 2026 or early 2027. More details are likely to be revealed closer to launch.
