KATHMANDU: The next-generation Hyundai Creta has been spied once again during testing in South Korea. The camouflaged test mule reveals several new features, including a segment-focused comfort upgrade.

The test vehicle features a black interior theme with leather seats. It gets a sizeable center console with a front armrest and three adjustable headrests for rear passengers. Rear AC vents are also visible.

One of the standout features is the ‘Boss Mode’ function. The front passenger seat is equipped with side-mounted controls, allowing rear occupants to electronically adjust the front seat when it is unoccupied. This feature is typically seen in higher-segment models and indicates Hyundai’s focus on rear-seat comfort.

Despite heavy camouflage, the SUV appears larger than the current model while maintaining a familiar silhouette. The test unit is fitted with 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, suggesting a possible upgrade in wheel size for higher variants.

The new-generation Creta is expected to be built on Hyundai’s updated K3 platform, which also underpins the Kia Seltos.

As per Indian media reports, the SUV is likely to retain the existing 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol, and 1.5-liter diesel engine options.

Hyundai has not officially revealed the launch timeline, but further design and feature details are expected in the coming months.
