KATHMANDU: Laxmi E-Mobility Pvt. Ltd. has announced the “Forthing Exchange Fest,” scheduled to take place from March 20 to 22, 2026, at Thapathali, Kathmandu, opposite Nepal Rastra Bank.
The three-day event allows customers to exchange their existing vehicle and upgrade to the Fourth Friday with multiple financial and ownership benefits.
Under the scheme, customers can receive benefits of up to Rs 700,000. The offer includes an exchange bonus based on vehicle valuation, direct cash discount on purchase, and additional ownership support features.
Key benefits include an exchange bonus on the old vehicle, a cash discount on the new purchase, one-year Auto Plus insurance, one-year road tax coverage, and free accessories such as a spare tire and AC charger.
The company stated that the exchange fest is aimed at making EV ownership more accessible by reducing upfront costs and simplifying the transition process.
Forthing is a passenger vehicle brand under Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, which operates under Dongfeng Motor Group.
In Nepal, Forthing EVs are distributed by Laxmi E-Mobility, a subsidiary of the Laxmi Group, focusing on expanding electric mobility solutions in the market.
