KATHMANDU: Mahindra & Mahindra has announced plans to launch 16 new models in India by 2031.

The upcoming lineup will include six electric vehicles and 10 internal combustion engine models. The company aims to expand its portfolio across both segments.

In the ICE range, Mahindra will introduce a mid-cycle update of the Mahindra Scorpio-N along with nine all-new models. The first launch from this lineup is expected next year.

Future models will be based on the new NU_IQ platform. This monocoque architecture supports both ICE and EV powertrains. Mahindra has already showcased four concept SUVs on this platform: Vision S, Vision X, Vision T, and Vision SXT.

The company is also developing its fourth EV on the INGLO platform. The production version of the BE.07 concept will join models like Mahindra BE 6, Mahindra XEV 9e, and Mahindra XEV 9S.

The BE.07-based model is expected to go on sale in 2027.
