KATHMANDU: The updated TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is about to start sales in Nepal from today. Jagdamba Motors, the authorized distributor of TVS motorcycles in Nepal, is introducing the new model with updated styling and additional premium features.
The new Apache RTR 160 4V comes in a higher-spec version with features like a TFT display, dual-channel ABS, traction control, and projector headlamp. TVS has focused on improving technology and riding experience with the latest update.
In the Indian market, the Apache RTR 160 4V is available in multiple variants, including single-channel ABS, dual-channel ABS, and USD fork with TFT display versions. Nepal is receiving the USD fork and TFT display variant.
The motorcycle continues with the 159.7cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled, four-valve, SOHC, fuel-injected engine. It produces 17.55 PS of maximum power and 14.73 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
The updated Apache RTR 160 4V gets TVS SmartXonnect, three ride modes, traction control, dual-channel ABS, petal disc brakes, LED lighting, DRLs, adjustable brake and clutch levers, assist and slipper clutch, and radial tubeless tires.
The bike also features a sportier design with new graphics and premium components. It is targeted at young riders looking for performance, technology, and daily usability in the 160cc motorcycle segment.
Jagdamba Motors has not officially announced the price of the new Apache RTR 160 4V yet. The motorcycle is expected to be priced around Rs 420,000 in Nepal.
