NAIMA Expo draws massive crowds | in pictures

KATHMANDU : The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 is witnessing a strong turnout at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.

The expo, which began on Tuesday, saw a particularly large crowd on Saturday, with many visitors taking advantage of the holiday.

More than 108,000 people had visited the expo in its first four days. The event features more than 55 automobile and mobility brands, with 53 new models launched so far.

Two-wheelers and cars priced below Rs. 5 million have attracted significant attention. Premium brands have also seen strong interest, particularly among younger visitors.

Visitors have shown interest in battery capacity, motor performance, driving range, after-sales service, battery warranty and resale value.

Automobile companies are also offering various schemes to attract buyers. These include discounts, one-year insurance, one-year road tax, free servicing and vehicle financing at preferential interest rates.

The expo will conclude today, Sunday, which is the final day. With the strong turnout seen throughout the event, a similar crowd is expected on the closing day.
