KATHMANDU : Maruti Suzuki is set to launch the facelifted Baleno in India on September 5, 2026. The updated hatchback has already been spotted testing on public roads.

The facelift will bring changes to the front, including redesigned headlights, bumpers and a refreshed front fascia. The rear design is expected to remain largely unchanged, although it could get updated LED taillights and new alloy wheels.

The cabin is likely to retain the existing layout. It could continue with features such as a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control and a single-pane sunroof. Fresh upholstery is also expected.

The Baleno facelift is likely to use the same 1.2-liter petrol engine. It could be offered with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT options. A CNG version with a manual gearbox is also expected.

More details, including the updated features and pricing, are expected to be announced closer to the launch.
