Banks offer special auto loan schemes at NADA Auto Show

KATHMANDU: Banks participating in the 18th NADA Auto Show 2026 have introduced special auto loan schemes for customers. The offers include competitive interest rates, longer loan tenures, lower service charges and special financing facilities for electric vehicles.

A total of 13 commercial banks are participating in the auto show. Interest rates on auto loans range from 4.66% to 5.99%, depending on the bank and loan scheme.

Agriculture Development Bank is offering the lowest rate at 4.66% for up to seven years. It has also announced a 33.33% discount on service charges and interest rate premiums. The bank will finance up to 80% of an EV’s value.

Nepal Bank is offering auto loans at 4.94% during the auto show. Rastriya Banijya Bank has set its rate at 5.02% for up to seven years, with loans of up to Rs 10 million. Its service charge has been reduced from 0.75% to 0.50% during the show.

Nabil Bank is offering loans at 5.17% under a financing structure that requires a 20% down payment, 20% payment through a credit card and 60% financing from the bank.

NIC Asia Bank is offering a fixed interest rate of 5.99% for up to seven years. It also provides floating-rate loans and can finance up to 80% of the value of an EV.

Global IME Bank is offering EV loans at 5.17%. The rate will remain fixed for the first three years of a seven-year loan. For the remaining four years, the rate will be based on the applicable base rate plus 2%.

Machhapuchchhre Bank is offering auto loans at 5.45% for up to 10 years. Its service charge has been reduced from 0.50% to 0.25% during the show.

Prabhu Bank is offering loans at 5.44%, with a maximum premium of 0.50% over the base rate. Laxmi Sunrise Bank is offering loans at 5.49% for up to seven years, with a 0.50% service charge.

Kumari Bank, Nepal SBI Bank, Siddhartha Bank and Nepal Investment Mega Bank are offering auto loans at 5.21%, 5.54%, 5.96% and 5.13%, respectively. These loans are available for up to seven years on floating interest rates, with a 0.50% service charge.
