KATHMANDU: Honda has launched the facelifted Elevate in India with an unchanged starting price of 1.18 million Indian rupees. The updated mid-size SUV gets new features and minor exterior changes, while the mechanical setup remains unchanged.
The facelift adds a new top-spec ZX+ variant, priced at 1.84 million Indian rupees for the CVT version. The updated Elevate features revised grille elements with three light-bar sections, giving it a connected look. The rear gets redesigned taillights and the front bumper has also been slightly revised.
The cabin now gets several new features, including rear-seat ventilation, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a four-way power-adjustable front passenger seat and wireless charging. It also gets a PM2.5 filter, 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, rear disc brakes and an electronic parking brake.
Honda has also updated the interior theme and added Nordic Fest Pearl to the color options. The SUV is available in dual-tone and single-tone color combinations.
There are no changes to the powertrain. The Elevate continues with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque. It is offered with a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.
Honda has not introduced a turbocharged or hybrid powertrain with the facelift. The Elevate is manufactured in India and is also exported to Japan.
