KATHMANDU: Agni Incorporated, the official distributor of Mahindra vehicles in Nepal, has introduced a Dashain scheme for its electric SUV, the BE 6. The company is offering nine benefits to customers purchasing the SUV during the festive season.
The Mahindra BE 6 has gained attention in the Nepali market for its coupe-style design, advanced technology and performance. It is available in three variants, with a starting price of Rs. 5.7 million.
According to the company, customers buying the BE 6 under the Dashain scheme will receive the following nine benefits.
Cash discount
The company is offering an attractive cash discount on the purchase of the BE 6. Customers can receive an additional cash benefit on the listed price.
Exchange bonus
Customers exchanging their old vehicles of any brand for the BE 6 will receive an exchange bonus. This allows them to trade in their existing vehicle and purchase the new electric SUV.
Easy financing
The company is offering financing facilities to BE 6 buyers. This gives customers the option to purchase the SUV through monthly installments instead of paying the full amount at once.
Two free chargers
Customers will receive two free chargers rated at 7 kW and 3 kW. The 7 kW wall-mounted charger is suitable for regular home charging.
Attractive gifts
The company is also offering a gift package to customers purchasing the BE 6. However, it has not disclosed the details of the gifts.
Spare tire
Unlike many electric cars that do not come with a spare tire, the BE 6 includes one. This can be useful during long journeys and travel on remote roads where tire replacement services may not be readily available.
Free accessories
Customers will receive free accessories, including floor mats. This helps reduce the additional expenses usually incurred after purchasing a vehicle.
Immediate delivery
The company is offering immediate delivery, allowing customers to take delivery without a long waiting period. Buyers can confirm the delivery date when making their purchase.
One year of free annual vehicle tax
Mahindra is also offering one year of free annual vehicle tax to customers purchasing the BE 6 under the scheme.
What does the Mahindra BE 6 offer?
The main attractions of the Mahindra BE 6 are its design, electric powertrain and technology. Built on Mahindra’s INGLO electric vehicle platform, the SUV features a coupe-style design that sets it apart from conventional SUVs.
Its sharp exterior styling, 19-inch wheels, sloping roofline and raised SUV stance give it a distinctive appearance.
The BE 6 comes with a 59 kWh battery pack and a 99 kW electric motor that produces 380 Nm of torque. It supports DC fast charging at up to 175 kW.
The SUV measures 4,371 mm in length, 1,907 mm in width and 1,627 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,775 mm, ground clearance of 207 mm and boot space of 455 liters.
Inside, the BE 6 features two 12.3-inch screens and an infotainment system powered by a Snapdragon 8295 processor. The system comes with 24 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and more than 30 pre-installed apps.
Other features include a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, dual-zone climate control, 5G connectivity, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera and Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The SUV also comes with seven airbags.
