KATHMANDU: Greaves Electric Mobility’s two-wheeler brand Ampere has patented its first electric motorcycle, the Cyber, in India. The company first showcased the motorcycle as a concept at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and is now moving ahead with its production development.
The patented design closely resembles the concept displayed at the expo. The Cyber features a futuristic street-naked design with an LED headlight, alloy wheels, front and rear disc brakes, USD front forks and a monoshock.
The motorcycle is expected to use the 10kW electric motor showcased in the concept version. The motor was claimed to deliver a top speed of up to 100 kmph.
The Cyber is also expected to feature an LFP battery pack with both AC and DC fast-charging support. With a large battery pack, the motorcycle is claimed to offer a range of up to 200 km on a full charge.
It is expected to come with a TFT display featuring Bluetooth connectivity and Google Maps support. Ampere has yet to announce the motorcycle’s launch date, pricing or other production specifications.
