KATHMANDU: Bajaj Motorcycles has become the official two-wheeler partner of the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
On Thursday, Abhimanyu Golchha, director of Hansraj Hulash Chand, the official Bajaj dealer in Nepal, and Paras Khadka, secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), signed an agreement during a program.
As per the deal, Bajaj will award Pulsar N160 motorcycles to three standout players in the NPL. The prizes will go to the player who scores the most runs, the player who takes the most wickets, and the emerging player of the tournament.
In addition, Bajaj will also give awards to the Man of the Match in every game.
Speaking at the program, Golchha said, “Pulsar motorcycles have always been linked with sports and youth energy. For the past 18 years, we have been supporting events like the Pulsar Sports Awards, A Division Football League, and various cricket leagues.”
Secretary Khadka said that all preparations for the NPL, which will start on November 1, have been completed. He added that partnering with Pulsar is a positive step for the league.
