KATHMANDU : Chinese luxury automotive brand Hongqi has officially entered the Nepali market. Advanced Automobile Pvt. Ltd., under Vishal Group, has introduced the Hongqi EHS4 at the ongoing NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
The EHS4 is priced at Rs. 5.999 million. Under the NAIMA special offer, customers can purchase the electric SUV for Rs. 5.799 million.
Hongqi is the luxury vehicle brand of China’s FAW Group. The brand is known for its premium vehicles and has expanded its lineup with electric models in recent years.
The Hongqi E-HS4 is a compact electric SUV with a modern design and premium features. It comes with a 160 kW electric motor that produces 240 Nm of torque.
The EV is equipped with a 67.1 kWh battery pack. It offers a WLTP-rated range of 460 km on a full charge. The battery has an IP67 rating.
The EHS4 supports DC fast charging. It can charge from 30 to 80 percent in 20 minutes, according to the specification sheet.
The EHS4 measures 4,520 mm in length, 1,873 mm in width and 1,647 mm in height. It has a rear-wheel-drive system.
The SUV also comes with features such as a panoramic glass roof, heated exterior mirrors, LED headlights, a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Safety and driver-assistance features include adaptive cruise control, lane-centering control, lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot detection, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking and a 360-degree surround-view camera.
