Five models displayed at NAIMA expo sold out

KATHMANDU: Five vehicle models displayed at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo have sold out.

The expo, which concluded on Monday, showcased vehicles from 50 different brands. Among the displayed vehicles, four passenger models and one commercial model have sold out.

The sold-out vehicles include Nissan’s Leaf, Citroën C3 and e-C3, and Leapmotor T03 in the passenger car segment, and Nissan’s Urvan microbus in the commercial segment.

Authorized distributors of these brands told MeroAuto that they have cleared their stock and none of these vehicles can be delivered before the upcoming Dashain festival.

All the sold-out vehicles were available with attractive discounts. The Nissan Leaf was offered at a heavy discount of Rs 2 million. Pioneer MotoCorp, Nissan’s official distributor in Nepal, reduced the price of the Leaf from Rs 6.499 million to Rs 4.499 million during the expo. It also offered an attractive discount on the Urvan microbus.

Similarly, Leapmotor’s official dealer in Nepal, Sangrila Motors, offered a cash discount of Rs 600,000 on the T03 electric hatchback. The company lowered the price of the T03 from Rs 3.4 million to Rs 2.799 million at the expo.

Likewise, the Citroën C3 was offered at a discount of Rs 650,000. Sangrila Motors, which also represents Citroën in Nepal, lowered the price of the C3 from Rs 3.65 million to Rs 2.999 million during the expo.
