KATHMANDU: The newly launched Geely EX5 has received an overwhelming response from Nepali customers, with strong demand seen within two months of its debut.
LRR Motors, the authorized importer of Geely vehicles in Nepal, said the interest in the EX5 Max and Pro models has exceeded expectations. The company reported a sharp rise in showroom visits, test drives and bookings.
However, the company has not yet revealed the number of bookings and sales.
According to Adhir Shrestha, Head of Sales at LRR Motors, customers have been impressed by the EX5’s smooth performance, quiet drive and modern design. He said the response shows growing confidence in electric mobility in Nepal.
Showrooms in Gairidhara, Kathmandu, have seen long queues and record test drive registrations. LRR Motors is now extending showroom hours and adding more test drive slots to meet the growing demand.
The company has also introduced festive offers, including cash discounts, free one-year insurance, easy financing, exchange bonuses and gift hampers for new buyers.
Geely EX5 is being seen as one of the most popular electric SUVs in Nepal this year.
