KATHMANDU : The Hero Glamor X 125 motorcycle, featuring cruise control, is set to launch in Nepal at the upcoming NADA Auto Show.
CG Motors, the official distributor of Hero motorcycles in Nepal, will launch the new motorcycle at the NADA Auto Show, which begins on Bhadra 9 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
The Hero Glamor X is the first motorcycle in the 125cc segment to feature cruise control. Along with cruise control, it comes with a wide range of modern features.
The Glamor X is powered by a 124.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled Sprint EBT engine. It produces a maximum of 11.4 bhp and 10.5 Nm of torque.
Hero has equipped the motorcycle with a balancer shaft and silent cam chain for a smoother riding experience.
The motorcycle gets a fully digital LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and more than 60 functions. Hero calls this system Intelligent Ride Technology.
Built on a diamond frame, the Glamor X features a distinctive design and a full LED lighting setup. It also gets a Type-C charging port, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, panic brake alerts, gear position indicator, fuel efficiency data and range-to-empty information.
Other features include an adjustable brightness system and three riding modes: Eco, Road and Power.
The Glamor X also comes with Hero-branded under-seat storage, a long handlebar, tank knee pads, an aerodynamic visor, engine guard, pan and fender extensions, and a new bass-heavy signature exhaust.
It gets a single pillion seat, nylon grip tires, alloy wheels, disc brakes, telescopic forks and a five-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber.
