KATHMANDU: Hero MotoCorp has launched a new variant of its Vida electric scooter lineup, the VX2 Go 3.4 kWh in India. The new variant is priced at 102,000 Indian rupee (ex-showroom).
The scooter is also available under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, starting at 60,000 Indian rupee with a pay-per-km cost of 0.90 Indian rupee.
The Vida VX2 Go 3.4 kWh variant comes with dual removable batteries that offer a real-world range of up to 100 km. These batteries power an electric motor that delivers 8.04 BHP and 26 Nm of torque, enabling a top speed of 70 km/h.

In terms of design, the VX2 Go features an LED headlamp, a single-piece seat, and a flat footboard. Due to the larger battery, under-seat storage has been reduced from 33 liters to 27.2 liters. The e-scooter offers two riding modes, Eco and Ride.
Positioned as a family-oriented electric scooter, the Vida VX2 range also includes the VX2 Go 2.2 kWh and VX2 Plus variants.
