KATHMANDU: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has expanded its electric scooter lineup with the launch of the Honda QC3, its third electric two-wheeler in the Indian market.
The Honda QC3 is priced at 135,000 Indian rupees, ex-showroom Delhi. The new electric scooter uses a fixed battery and is positioned as a practical family scooter for daily urban commuting.
The QC3 offers a claimed IDC range of 145 km and gets a 3 kWh fixed battery. Honda says the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 2 hours and 40 minutes, while a full charge takes around four hours. The company has not yet revealed the motor output figures.
The scooter comes with a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with connected features. It supports Honda RoadSync connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The QC3 also offers 32-liter underseat storage and is available in four color options.
The new QC3 has the longest claimed range among Honda’s electric scooters in India. It competes with the Ather Rizta, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and Vida V2 in the family electric scooter segment.
