KATHMANDU: Hyundai’s India-spec Bayon has started arriving at dealer yards across India ahead of its official launch on October 26, 2026. Images shared by RushLane offer a closer look at the SUV’s exterior design and interior features in real-world conditions.

Measuring 4.2 meters in length, the Bayon will sit between the Venue and Creta in Hyundai’s Indian lineup.

The front features slim H-Edge LED daytime running lights, lower-mounted headlamps and a wide grille. Black bumper cladding and silver inserts add a rugged look. The side profile gets angular wheel arches, geometric alloy wheels and raised roof rails. At the rear, a horizontal black strip connects the lighting elements, while widely spaced BAYON lettering highlights the model name.

Inside, the SUV features a dual-tone cabin with a curved panoramic panel housing two 12.3-inch screens for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. Physical shortcut buttons, rotary controls, USB-C ports and a push-button start are also visible in the images. The photographed vehicle has an IVT automatic transmission.

Technology is another key highlight. Hyundai has confirmed a generative AI voice assistant using Perplexity and SoundHound AI technology. It supports conversational requests in English, while more than 500 offline voice commands are available in six languages,

The Bayon also features Hyundai’s NVIDIA-accelerated Connected Car Navigation Cockpit, more than 70 Bluelink connected features and over-the-air updates for up to 19 vehicle controllers.

Power comes from a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder MPi petrol engine producing 115 PS and 144 Nm of torque. Buyers will be able to choose between a six-speed manual and an IVT automatic transmission.

Hyundai is expected to announce prices and variant-wise features on October 26, when the Bayon officially launches in India.
