KATHMANDU: Leapmotor has launched its new compact electric SUV, the Leapmotor A10. Internationally known as B03X, the model is priced between USD 9,500 and USD 12,600. It was first showcased at the Guangzhou Auto Show last year.
The A10 is positioned as a pure electric compact SUV. It measures 4,270 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height, with a 2,605 mm wheelbase. The SUV rides on 18-inch wheels.
In terms of design, the model follows Leapmotor’s “Tech Natural Aesthetics 2.0” theme. It features signature “smiling” LED headlamps and a trapezoidal front bumper. At the rear, it gets distinctive “Haha” taillights. The SUV is available in six exterior color options.
Inside, the A10 offers a clean and tech-focused cabin. It includes an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch 2.5K touchscreen. The system is powered by Qualcomm SA8295 chip and supports AI-based functions. The cabin also gets a multifunction steering wheel and customizable IP bar with features like ambient lighting and fragrance system.

The SUV comes equipped with lidar and Qualcomm SA8650 chip. It supports advanced driver assistance features such as city and highway navigation assist, along with memory parking.
Power comes from a single electric motor. Buyers can choose between 70 kW and 90 kW outputs, both producing 150 Nm of torque. Battery options include 39.8 kWh and 53 kWh packs. These offer a CLTC range of 403 km and up to 505 km, respectively.
The A10 also supports fast charging. The battery can be charged from 30 to 80 percent in around 16 minutes.

In Nepal, Shangrila Motors currently offers the Leapmotor B10, C10, and T03. With the A10 now launched in China, its arrival in Nepal looks likely. The A10 is expected to enter the Nepali market by mid-2026.
