KATHMANDU: The LEV 05 hatchback has arrived in Nepal ahead of its scheduled launch at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo.
Officials of Nexon Venture, the authorized distributor for Chinese automobile company LS Auto in Nepal, told MeroAuto that few demo units of the hatchback have arrived in Nepal.
The LEV 05 is powered by a 70 kW motor and uses a 56 kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery. Based on its size, features and technology, the new model appears set to compete with the BYD Dolphin in the Nepali market.
Nexon Venture has also brought LEV-X, the all-wheel-drive version of LEV 01 which is already available in Nepal.
Along with LEV 05, Nexon Venture has also brought LEV-X, the all-wheel-drive version of LEV 01 which is already available in Nepal. Both models will be officially unveiled during the Nepal Mobility Expo that kicks off on August 6, an official of Nexon Venture said.
The hatchback offers a range of up to 400 kilometers when fully charged, according to Nexon Venture.
