KATHMANDU: Maruti Suzuki has opened bookings for the facelifted Brezza ahead of its official launch in India on July 23.
The facelift brings the first major update to the second-generation Brezza. The SUV is expected to feature revised headlights, new taillights, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and fresh dual-tone alloy wheels.
The overall design remains familiar but adopts a more modern look.
The cabin is also set to receive several upgrades. Expected features include leatherette seats, ventilated front seats, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting, and an updated interior finish.
Maruti Suzuki is also likely to introduce Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for the first time on the Brezza.
The facelift is also expected to introduce a new turbo-petrol engine. Reports suggest the SUV will be offered with a 1.0-liter Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine producing 99 hp and 148 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The existing 1.5-liter petrol and CNG variants are expected to remain part of the lineup.
