MeroAuto Ride 4.0 to be held on October 2

KATHMANDU: The fourth edition of the MeroAuto Bike Ride (Ride 4.0) will be held on Friday, October 2.

Automotives Pvt. Ltd. is organizing the ride on World Tourism Day. It will run from Kathmandu to the historic Gorkha Durbar.

The ride starts at 8 am from the Nepal Tourism Board. It will pass through Sitapaila, Dharke, Galchhi, Mugling and Abukhaireni before ending in Gorkha.

Along the way, there will be fun activities and sports events. TotalEnergies will also run a care camp at Mugling.

Hari Prasad Gajurel, managing director of Automotives Pvt. Ltd., said the ride aims to promote domestic tourism, build a riding culture and strengthen bonds among riders.

“We have organized this ride every year for the past four years,” he said. “Our main goals are to promote domestic tourism, develop a riding culture and bring riders closer together.” He added that the ride will continue in the coming years.

TotalEnergies is the main sponsor. The ride is powered by CEAT Tyres. Royal Enfield, Hero, Yamaha, Honda, Bajaj and Morbidelli are supporting partners.

The first edition was held in 2023 in Pattale, Solukhumbu. The second took place in 2024 in Brabal, Rasuwa. The third was held last year in Kharidhunga, Dolakha.
