KATHMANDU: Automotives Pvt. Ltd. is set to organize the second edition of the ‘MeroAuto Automotive Conclave 2082’ on Friday (March 20) at Aloft Kathmandu Thamel.
The event will begin at 2:30 PM.
Managing Director Hari Gajurel said the conclave aims to bring stakeholders together to discuss key aspects of Nepal’s automobile sector, which is considered a major pillar of the economy.
The main panel discussion will be held under the theme: “Nepal’s Auto Sector Outlook: Banking Investment and Regulatory Role.” Discussions will cover current challenges, government policies, future plans, EV growth, Euro 6 standards, and the role of the banking sector.
Panelists include Subhash Chandra Ghimire from Nepal Rastra Bank, Mahesh Bhattarai from the Ministry of Finance, and Rajan Babu Shrestha, CEO of Sipradi Trading. The session will be moderated by MeroAuto Editor-in-Chief Sagar Gajurel.
Representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Nepal Rastra Bank, Department of Transport Management, automobile businesses, and industry experts are expected to attend.
