KATHMANDU: Italian motorcycle brand Morbidelli will officially enter the Nepali market from Thursday, April 2. The brand’s authorized distributor, Vaidya’s Energy under the Vaidya Group, is set to launch two models.
The company will begin sales of the Morbidelli T352X and Morbidelli T1002VX adventure motorcycles. This marks the first time Morbidelli bikes will be sold in Nepal.
The brand’s first showroom will be located in Naxal, Kathmandu, at the same premises as the Benelli showroom. Both motorcycles combine Italian design with modern technology. They are built for Nepal’s road and terrain conditions, with an off-road-focused adventure design.
The Morbidelli T352X is powered by a 349.2cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled EFI engine. It produces 41 hp and 31.5 Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.
Key features include switchable dual-channel ABS, three riding modes with off-road mode, traction control, full LED lighting, a 7-inch TFT display, connectivity features, navigation, SOS function, Pirelli Scorpion off-road tires, spoke wheels, long-travel suspension, and an 18-liter fuel tank.

The Morbidelli T1002VX is a premium adventure tourer. It gets a 997cc V-twin engine producing 88.5 hp and 89 Nm of torque. It is also paired with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch.
It features KYB 43 mm fully adjustable USD front forks and a KYB mono-shock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by twin 320 mm front discs and a 260 mm rear disc with Bosch ABS.
The bike rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless spoke wheels. It comes with a 20-liter fuel tank and has a seat height of 820 mm.
Other features include a 7-inch TFT screen, Bluetooth connectivity, four riding modes (Rain, Standard, Sport, Off-road), traction control, cruise control, heated grips and seat, full LED setup, and an adjustable windshield.
