KATHMANDU: Premium electric scooter brand Ather has opened its 15th Experience Center in Nepalgunj. Vaidya’s Energy, the official distributor of Ather in Nepal, has opened the new center at New Road-2 on Buspark Road in Nepalgunj.
The new Experience Center aims to strengthen Ather’s presence outside major cities. It will also help expand access to electric scooters and related services in Nepalgunj and nearby areas.
Customers can explore Ather’s latest electric scooters and technology at the new center. The outlet will offer sales, financing and exchange facilities.
With the new outlet, Ather now has 15 Experience Centers across Nepal. Its network covers Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Itahari, Butwal, Janakpur, Birgunj, Dharan and Birtamod, among other cities.
The Nepalgunj center will showcase the Ather 450 series and Ather Rizta.
The company has also introduced special offers to mark the opening. The offer is available until Ashoj 3. Customers can choose one of three benefits: an extended battery warranty, financing at an attractive zero-percent interest rate, or a valuation benefit of up to Rs 8,000.
The Ather 450 series is aimed at customers looking for performance and smart features. It comes with features such as strong acceleration, Google Maps-based navigation, auto hold, fall-safe, reverse mode and multiple riding modes.
The Rizta is designed for family and everyday use. It offers a wide seat and large storage capacity. It also gets traction control, tow and theft alerts, WhatsApp notifications on the dashboard and other comfort-focused features.
Ather currently operates 10 authorized service centers across Nepal. The company provides a warranty of up to 8 years or 80,000 km, which it claims is the longest warranty in Nepal’s two-wheeler EV segment.
Ather is also expanding its fast-charging network in Nepal. The company currently has more than 50 Ather Grid fast-charging points across major cities and highways.
The company plans to further expand its charging network to make long-distance electric scooter travel easier across Nepal.
