KATHMANDU: Preparations for the ‘HP Lubricants Presents 18th NADA Auto Show 2026’ have been completed. The auto show is set to begin Tuesday at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
The NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA) confirmed the preparations during a press conference on Monday.
According to NADA President Surendra Kumar Upreti, more than 215 stalls had been completed by Monday. He said the exhibition has been made wider and more organized compared to previous editions.
The exhibition area has been divided into different sections for four-wheelers, two-wheelers, financial institutions, auto parts and garage equipment, ‘Made in Nepal/Made for Nepal’ and the International Business Pavilion.
A total of 53 vehicle brands, 70 parts and service companies and around 11 banks and financial institutions are participating in this year’s auto show.
NADA has arranged parking for visitors at two locations. Visitors can park their vehicles at the underground parking area of the Nepal Police Club’s Blue Pavilion and the National Trading Corporation premises in Singha Durbar.
The organizers have also set up a traffic management information desk, media desk, cafeteria and emergency medical service at the exhibition venue. CCTV surveillance and fire safety systems have also been installed.
The auto show will be inaugurated by Vice President Ramsahaya Prasad Yadav at 10:30 am on Tuesday.
Visitors can purchase tickets in advance through the Khalti app or the official QR code. The entry fee has been set at Rs 200 for general visitors and Rs 150 for students.
