KATHMANDU: NeoKavach has introduced the India’s first wearable airbag vest for motorcyclists, priced at 32,400 Indian rupees. Called the NeoKavach Air Vest, it uses a tether-based mechanical triggering system, eliminating the need for batteries or electronic sensors.
The airbag deploys within 100 milliseconds when the rider is thrown off or during a sudden impact.
Made in India, the vest meets global safety standards and features a CE Level 2 certified back protector for added safety and better force distribution.
Alongside the air vest, NeoKavach has launched two other products: the NeoKavach Tech Pro and Tech Pack Air.
The NeoKavach Tech Pro is a multifunctional backpack equipped with a hydration pack, laptop compartment, tablet sleeve, and helmet holder. It is priced at 40,800 Indian rupees. The NeoKavach Tech Pack Air, aimed at daily commuters, is available for 36,000 Indian rupees.
