KATHMANDU: Bajaj Auto’s upcoming adventure motorcycle has been spotted during testing, giving a closer look at its design and equipment in India. The new ADV appears to be moving closer to production and could be launched in India during the 2026 festive season, according to Rushlane.

The motorcycle is expected to be introduced under the Bajaj Trekker name, although the company has not officially confirmed the name yet.

The latest spy shots reveal an air/oil-cooled engine, which is likely to be the 250cc unit from the Pulsar N250. This would give Bajaj a new option in the mid-capacity adventure motorcycle segment.

The test motorcycle also features a fully digital TFT instrument cluster. The console appears to have a design similar to the unit seen on the new Pulsar N160 4V.

The switchgear also appears to be borrowed from the Pulsar N160 4V. Other visible equipment includes wire-spoke wheels and dual-purpose tires, suggesting that the motorcycle will be designed for both road and light off-road use.

The new ADV is also expected to feature long-travel suspension and an upright riding position. These should make it more suitable for touring and rougher roads.

A large rear top box can also be seen on the test motorcycle, adding to its touring-focused character.

If launched as expected, the new Bajaj ADV could compete with motorcycles such as the Hero Xpulse 210, Suzuki V-Strom SX and Yezdi Adventure.

More details about its engine specifications, features, pricing and launch timeline are expected to emerge as Bajaj moves closer to its official introduction.
