KATHMANDU: The next-generation KTM RC range is set for a major update, with a new model expected to arrive by 2027. The upcoming version could feature a twin-cylinder engine.

According to Manik Nangia, President of Probiking at Bajaj Auto, the next-gen RC is planned for introduction by the end of next year.

The updated RC is expected to get a redesigned front with a new LED headlamp. It may also feature aero winglets inspired by KTM’s MotoGP machines.

While final details are yet to be confirmed, reports suggest the new RC could be based on a new twin-cylinder platform. KTM and Bajaj are currently working on this platform, which may eventually replace the existing 390 platform.

For now, the current RC lineup, including the RC 390, is expected to continue with the existing 373cc engine, according to Autocar India.
