KATHMANDU: Proton Nepal has officially inaugurated a new EV showroom in Pokhara. The showroom is located at Buddha Chowk. This marks the brand’s expansion after a successful launch in Kathmandu.
The new outlet is part of Proton’s plan to build a nationwide EV network by 2025. Customers in Pokhara can now book test drives, get one-on-one consultations and explore easy financing and government subsidy options.
To support after-sales service, Jagdamba Motors, the authorized distributor of Proton in Nepal is building its third service center in Pokhara. This will help provide better care to Proton customers in the region.
The showroom was inaugurated by Mr. Krishna Shrestha, President of the Western Automobiles Dealers Association. The event was attended by representatives from WADA, FNCCI, Hotel Association Nepal (Pokhara Chapter), NYEF and the media.
“We are happy to bring Proton to Pokhara , a beautiful city with a progressive mindset,” said Mr. Akhil Gupta, Executive Director of Jagdamba Motors. “Our goal is to make smart and clean mobility available to more families in western Nepal.”
