KATHMANDU: Over 500 riders on classic and vintage-style motorcycles joined the 2025 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) in Kathmandu, making it the largest event so far.
Organized by FORE Nepal and supported by Triumph Motorcycles Nepal, the ride helped raise awareness and funds for men’s mental health and prostate cancer.
The ride began at the Triumph Showroom in Naxal, passed through Bhaktapur and ended with a gathering at Biker’s Cafe, Naxal. Psychotherapist Sadhana Thapa spoke about the importance of mental health, while Mr. Sagar Thapa, representing Triumph Nepal, expressed pride in supporting this global cause.
DGR events were also held in Dharan, Chitwan and Makwanpur, raising over $1,400 USD across Nepal. With growing support, DGR plans to reach more cities and build stronger partnerships to continue helping the cause.
The event attracted well-known public figures and celebrities, increasing its reach and impact. The organizers aim to grow the event nationwide, focusing on fundraising, outreach and teamwork to create lasting change.
