Sunlong to debut two e-microvans at NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025

KATHMANDU: Sunlong, a Chinese commercial vehicle brand, is set to unveil two electric microvans in Nepal. The launch will take place at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, starting on August 6.

Blue Corporation Pvt. Ltd., part of the Weber Group, is bringing the Sunlong U1 and U2 models to the Nepali market. These are 12-seater and 13-seater electric microvans.

The U1 comes with a 46.36 kWh battery and offers a range of 325 km. The U2 has a 50.23 kWh battery with a 350 km range. Both use an 80 kW motor.

The microvans have 15-inch wheels and 180 mm ground clearance. Key features include an LCD dashboard, USB charging, air conditioning, reverse camera, reverse sensors, front power windows and a pedestrian warning system.

For safety, they are equipped with ABS, EBD, EPS, ESC, brake assist and seatbelt warnings. The front brakes are discs and the rear are drums.

Each van will come with a 3.3 kW portable charger and a 6.6 kW wall-mounted charger. The Sunlong U1 is priced at Rs 4.747 million. The U2 is priced at Rs 5.151 million.
