KATHMANDU: Suzuki motorcycles and scooters can now be purchased under a zero percent interest rate finance scheme in Nepal. VG Automobiles, the official distributor of Suzuki in Nepal, has introduced the special offer.
According to the company, the finance scheme will be available across Suzuki authorized showrooms nationwide from June 17.
Under this offer, customers can purchase Suzuki Gixxer 155 motorcycle and scooter models including Access, Avenis, and Burgman with zero percent interest financing. The scheme is not applicable to the Suzuki V-Strom motorcycle.
Customers purchasing the Gixxer or any of the three scooter models under this scheme need to make a 50 percent down payment. The remaining amount must be paid in installments within one year.
The company stated that customers will not have to pay any interest or additional finance charges under the scheme.
To purchase Suzuki motorcycles or scooters through this finance facility, customers need to submit a driving license, citizenship certificate, electricity or water bill, one guarantor, and documents verifying their source of income.
