KATHMANDU: CG Motocorp, the authorized distributor of Suzuki vehicles in Nepal, has officially opened bookings for the all-new e Vitara electric SUV with a starting price set below Rs 5 million.
The SUV was unveiled at the ongoing WADA Auto Show 2026 in Pokhara, where the company also began accepting bookings.
The entry-level variant of the e Vitara has been priced at Rs 4.999 million, making it one of the most competitively positioned electric SUVs from a Japanese brand in the Nepali market. However, the company has not yet disclosed how many variants will be offered.
According to the distributor, the e Vitara will be available with two battery options; 49 kWh and 61 kWh, paired with electric motors producing 106 kW and 128 kW respectively.
The SUV features Suzuki’s latest EV technology along with a modern design highlighted by tri-slash LED DRLs at both the front and rear, while the charging port is positioned at the front.
Inside, the e Vitara gets a feature-rich cabin including a floating dual-screen setup, automatic climate control, 360-degree camera, two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, ADAS suite, panoramic sunroof, electronic parking brake with auto hold, hill descent control, heated ORVMs, and wireless phone charging.
In terms of dimensions, the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara measures 4,275 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height, and is built on a 2,700 mm wheelbase, promising a spacious and practical electric SUV package.
