2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza earns 5-star safety rating

KATHMANDU: The 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza has received a 5-star safety rating in the latest Bharat NCAP crash tests.

The compact SUV scored 30.41 out of 32 points for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 43 out of 49 points for Child Occupant Protection (COP).

In the frontal offset crash test, the Brezza provided good protection for the head, neck, and lower body of both front occupants. Protection for the driver’s chest and legs, and the front passenger’s legs, was rated as adequate.

The SUV also delivered good overall protection in both the side movable deformable barrier test and the side pole impact test.

For child safety, the Brezza achieved a full 24/24 in dynamic performance and 12/12 for child restraint system (CRS) installation. It received 7 out of 13 points in the vehicle assessment category, resulting in an overall 43/49 child occupant protection score.
