KATHMANDU: TVS has launched the updated version of its Stryker 125 motorcycle in the Nepali market.
The new model was unveiled during the ‘Great Grand Exchange and Finance Fair’ held in Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu.
The refreshed Stryker 125 comes with several new features, including a redesigned ignition key, USB charging port, updated graphics, dual spring suspension, digital speedometer and an LED tail light.
Priced at Rs 247,900, the motorcycle is powered by a 124cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine that delivers 11 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 10.8 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
According to Jagdamba Motors, the authorized distributor for TVS in Nepal, the bike is equipped with a disc brake on the front and drum brake on the rear. The company has claimed that the bike offers a mileage of 67 km per liter and can reach a top speed of 90 km/h.
The Stryker 125 cc uses 17-inch alloy wheels and offers a ground clearance of 173 mm, making it suitable for urban as well as light off-road conditions.
