Xpeng Aeroht secures 600 orders for flying car in Middle East

KATHMANDU: Xpeng Aeroht, the flying car arm of China’s Xpeng Motors, has received 600 orders for its “Land Aircraft Carrier” from partners in the Middle East. The deal, announced during an event in Dubai on October 12, is the largest overseas bulk order in the flying car industry.

Agreements were signed with UAE’s Ali & Sons Group, Qatar’s Almana Group, Kuwait’s AlSayer Group and the UAE Chinese Business Council. This brings Xpeng Aeroht’s total global orders to 7,000 units.

The company also launched its new international brand “ARIDGE” and confirmed that its flying car factory in Guangzhou was completed in September. Mass production and deliveries are planned for 2026.The “Land Aircraft Carrier,” priced under 280,000 USD, combines driving and flying functions. It features a 6-wheel design, 1,000 km driving range and a detachable flying module that supports 5–6 flights per charge.

Xpeng Aeroht also introduced a new hybrid flying car, the A868, with a flight range over 500 km and a top speed above 360 km/h. The A868 will debut in Guangzhou this November.

The company aims to launch its operations in the Middle East by 2027.
